White Cat

White Cat
Why is there a yellow line on the skin of my white cat?

I woke up this morning and my average white cat hair was a yellow line on his back. It seemed that rolled around a marker, but not highlighter was evident. She has fleas and have been taken to the vet who gave him a pill and gave only one dose Vectra, which is placed on the skin of the back of his neck. She was also itching. Any ideas?

Bradley, this may be a reaction to treatment liquid flea gets on your skin, which may have contaminated the skin. It may be itching caused by allergies to flea infestation as well. What is really weird (I just found this strange fact my vet recently) is that often, when cats are allergic to fleas, you can not see fleas the cat all the time, because they eat, yet remain infected and allergic diseases. Yes, very strange but true information! I have a cat that often has a strip yellow at the top of its tail. We finally realized that somehow if you urinate on our high-end box covered his face (brand CleverCat) urine may have in the queue. It is possible that somehow came into contact with the urine in the same way. That said, I probably contact your veterinarian about the itching and the mention of the stain yellow too. Flea allergies are a nightmare for our cats, and you can start overgrooming sores on the skin of support. Good luck to you and your cat in the solution of problem. The stain does not seem to matter that alarming, but the itching and scratching something to root.
